Punching (WIP)

Punching is Jingwei’s new project experimenting new action of punching letters on an aluminium plate surface with rock as hammer, further exploring the power and limitations of languages, communication, immigrant experience with the immediate performative response to her new material aluminium sheets.

Supported by Australian Government through Creative Australia, the outcome of this project will be shown in the Central Gallery at the Central School of Art (SA) in June 2025.
